I did plan on collecting several different sizes of pots and pans and experimenting with composition. However, I not only felt it made the process less personal, but also the progress too easy. I decided to create my own pot by using clay. By making my own pot with no skill and quickly, it gives the illusion that a child has constructed it and with it looking lumpy, I feel it represents a battered memory. “Homemade” was written into the clay to represent the kitchen of a home and how many memories in peoples’ childhood and mine are created there, like a ‘Home memory’.I plan on maybe collaging onto it or maybe projecting onto it.
